command being parsed (ie when you start mutt and read the muttrc file)
then AIUI it is effectively left off of the list.

You could perhaps make a send-hook which runs your mailboxes command
every time you send a note...  Nah :-)  I think that $save_empty is your
friend in this case, Charles.
