I'm running 1.2.5. I find that whether folder-hooks work with -f
depends on how the file name is given on the command line. For example,
folder-hooks work for these:
mutt -f =Incoming/mutt-users
mutt -f ~/Mail/Incoming/mutt-users
but not for this:
mutt -f Mail/Incoming/mutt-users
