I'd do it like: set alternates = "ejg(-mutt|-qmail)?@ar\.homelinux\.org" I have something like: set alternates = "dlc(-.*)?@(host1|host2)" So that I don't have to keep updating $alternates when I add new -pieces. (darren) -- All is fear in love and war.
