I've used this as a search pattern in the pager to highlight newsletter
section headings:
"/\^[A-Z0-9][A-Z0-9 [:punct:]]*$^M"
So you could probably adapt it for your subject search. Maybe this
(untried):
~s "\^[A-Z0-9 [:punct:]]+$"
