Does it still hang if you add '-F /dev/null' to the arguments? If not, then you've got something in your config that's making it hang. If it does still hang, you may want to bring your question to the mutt-dev list. > Also, if I want to attach multiple files, the use of multiple -a > commands works; however, can I just provide a list of files names > and use the -a option only once. Yes, you can avoid using the -a flag multiple times, but only with the devel-tree version (1.5.x) of mutt. The stable mutt (1.4.x) doesn't have that feature. Here's the 1.5.x man page entry: -a file [...] Attach a file to your message using MIME. To attach multiple files, separating filenames and recipient addresses with "--" is mandatory, e.g. mutt -a img.jpg *.png -- addr1 addr2. ~Kyle - -- Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. -- Douglas Adams -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: Thank you for using encryption! iD8DBQFHauMjBkIOoMqOI14RAiC3AKDd+8p+PnpUiTAar5JLOTF97T46GQCdFrgK bbLh9DNmvrQsEVbbG74Yl8I= =T6eU -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
