Hi - I just have a general question about upgrading and how to do this properly.
I'm using mac os x (10.5.1) in case that helps. I'm unclear on what happens to the existing version on my system. Do i need to manually remove this, or is it automatically removed after compiling the new version? I'm sure this is a simple task, but i am still learning and wanted some advice before attempting it.
