You are prompted (asked) for input.

But the, ahem, prompt should appear, and ask you to which folder
you actually want to change.

I get:

Open mailbox ('?' for list): =Lists/mutt-users

Something in your muttrc? But I can't find any option that would
suppress this prompt ... strange.
