Ah!, i see now. Thank you so much, that does make things much better for me. I have already got an alternates file with that address in it, so do I still need to add the alternates command to the send-hook. And similarly, if I set $reverse_name in my muttrc i'm assuming i won't need to set it in the send-hook as well? Jamie.
