I have also tried the following:

set record = "+Sent"
set record = "Sent"
set record = "INBOX.Sent"

Have you tried something like:
## May need to adjust this depending on your Dovecot settings and how
## you have your prefix defined.
set folder = imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net/INBOX
set record = +Sent

No that doesn't work either:) My folders are all nested under INBOX and I don't have prefix defined. I have several IMAP accounts, so the settings are defined in folder-hook. Here is what I have at the moment for the folder-hook

mailboxes imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993

account-hook imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993 'set
imap_user=username'

account-hook imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993 'set

imap_pass=password'

folder-hook 'imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993.*' 'set from=i...@manor-farm.org'

folder-hook 'imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993.*' 'set
folder=imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993/INBOX'

account-hook imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993 'set copy = yes'

folder-hook 'imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993.*' 'set spoolfile="+INBOX"'

folder-hook 'imaps://i...@wilkesley.net@mail2.wilkesley.net:993.*' 'set record = +INBOX.Sent'

Note I have tried both +Sent and +INBOX.Sent

Ian.
