Cool! Looking at the release notes I wonder what is the difference between oauthbearer and xoauth2.
I have oauth working with Gmail using oauthbearer. One motivation for switching, if xoauth2 also works with Gmail, is that the python script supporting oauthbearer is python2 (deprecated) and I don't have the python chops to upgrade the script.
