I'd try a message-hook with pattern: %C GROUP │messages either to: or cc: to any member of GROUP Have a look at "Table 4.4. Pattern modifiers" under the heading "3.1. Pattern Modifier" in the manual. (On key F1 in mutt.) I'd need a quick read of section "6. Using Hooks", for the header edit, asit's a while since I last wrote one. IIRC, send-hooks & message-hooks are triggered prior to composing a message, so if you have "set edit_headers=yes", then your modified header ought to show in the edit session. (Not tried.) Erik
