The server appears to be running Apache: it's reasonably trivial to implement a Let's Encrypt certificate. This would avoid anyone visiting the site from getting "Not Secure www.mutt.org" or equivalent warnings from most modern browsers. Also would provide assurance that the content has not been tampered with in transit... I appreciate that the sources are GPG-signed but the documentation and other aspects of site are not.
