There are pro and cons to both platforms. If you want to read up on them, I would suggestion going there. I suggest knowing both just to be marketable, but that is because I'm a consultant.
Otherwise, this is a topic, I'd like us to avoid. It always ends up into a flamefest in most cases with little real discussion.
