I suspect that the new Kernel works better with H2 series mvps and the old kernel works better with older mvps. I'm using the new kernel with Myth 0.19 with my H2 and NFS is not a problem but the mythtv protocol was until a change was made some time back. Now both NFS and mythtv protocol both work flawlessly. In addition, the new kernel boots reliably on H2s the old one will not and requires chanting incantations and doing special dances...

Cheers...

The builds with the -2.4.31 suffix are using the newer linux 2.4.31
kernel.  This kernel is known to have a problem with NFS performance.
If you are using NFS to watch videos, then you probably want to stay

away from linux 2.4.31 at the moment.

For the record, I'm using todays non-2.4.31 build with myth 0.20 and NFS.
It certainly works for pre-recorded shows at least.
Not had a chance to check the rest of the features yet though.
