Timely with Rob helping attract some people here today via a /. effect talking about a similar product 'SlingCatcher' http://slashdot.org/articles/07/01/09/0147218.shtml My biggest concerns for Apple TV (from what I've read over the last few months) would be no mpeg-2 video, and iTunes, I am hoping to stay iTunes free. Now that it is announced hopefully the rumours will be correctd. What really interests me, when the price of the Sony PS3 comes down and when MVP becomes obsolete is linux on the PS3 ie http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/products/ydl/ The fact that they've got gstreamer running now and linux has Sony's support, the PS3 seems very promising for the future.
