There was an error between the screen and the chair back! :-)
The vob was wrong, I think I now have it working properly, so I can  
watch the vob with ac3 5.1 on mythtv and mp2 stereo (not that the telly  
is stereo) on the mvpmc!!

I am doing full rip/test now to make sure it works.
