Hi Dave...

Exactly how do you use Fast Forward and Fast Reverse?  I implemented 
this feature on a private copy of MClient and I am really hard pressed 
to say it is useful because the large amount (about 5 seconds) of delay 
between when data goes into the MediaMVP hardware and when the sound 
comes out of the speakers.

If you use it on something really long it might work out, but to skip 
around in even a 5 minute classical track is bothersome.

Also, what happens if you press play for a long time (several seconds) 
when scanning?.  Does, say, 4x drop down to 1x and that's it.  Or, does 
it start playing the track over?
