But, in other areas where we have 'plain jane' tvs (and the mvp attached), the percieved volume in different applications on the mvp seem at different audible levels. When I am watching live tv vs. when I am watching a recording vs when I am litening to music via nfs the sound level 'seems' to be different to me which means that if the sound is too loud I can use mvp remote to set the sound level down, but if the sound is too soft, I have to go find the tv remote to up the volume on the set as the mvp is already maxed out. I know a lot of this is how my ear is interpreting the audio level and technically they all may be the same. I hope this clarifies. To me the easiest approach would be a command line switch, but I understand the hesitance to add more to that. Just an idea.
