Hi...

I pushed these changes for MClient (along with some code corrections
:-O) into the MVPMC GIT repository.

Things that have been added to MClient over the last several months:

1) Displaying album cover art.**
2) Play progress bar indicator.
3) Volume bar indicator.
4) Remote control push & hold feature for Fast Forward and Rewind.
5) Remote control shift feature to access Replay Modes and Shuffle Modes.

Things that have been added to MClient over the last year:

1) Full screen display of play list.
2) Player focus (blue) indication of what is playing.
3) User focus (green) indication on what the users is looking at.

**You need to configure slimserver for this to work. I put ordinary jpg
files called "cover.jpg" in the directories containing the tracks of
that album. There are programs that hunt and download these types of
images. Google for slimserver and cover art. Note, I have only tested
this feature with ordinary jpg images! I have it on good word that it
will not work with "progressive" jpg files. So, if art work is
downloaded in another format, try to change and re-save it. If you store
your music in a single directory you probably need to read this if you
are going to get art work running:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?AlbumArtwork
...actually it's a good read for anyone wanting to add art work.

Do we still have nightly builds? If not, ask, I can do a 1 time build
and post these changes at mvpmc.org/~stuart if you want to try them out.

(MClient is a MPVMC application which is a client to slimdevices.com's
slimserver program. Slimserver is an open source music server program
writen by many people and hosted at slimdevices.com. Slimserver is
written in PERL and can run on Windows NT/2000/XP, Mac OS X, Debian &
Linux.)
