I guess the problem is that the web UI seems to work intermittently for 
me. The first time I saw it work was after I had supplied the --web-port 
option. Then after submitting some setting changes via the web UI, it 
ceased working, even though mvpmc was still operational.

I just tried it again, and it does seems to work, with or without the 
option. I'll update the wiki to reflect that.
