Mythdora is just a packaging scheme, so I wouldn't expect it to impact the encoding format. What will impact it is the type of video capture card you have, and whether you are performing any transcoding after the fact on recorded video. (By default, no transcoding occurs.) For example, most Hauppauge PVR series capture cards output MPEG2 as their native format. However, I'm a little skeptical that it is a video encoding format problem, as in my experience mvpmc simply shows a blank screen if it can't handle the format. I haven't seen it reset. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it did. -Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
