I tried the July 8th build and it didn't seem to help much.  It might have
been a little better, but I didn't do a double blind test to tell for
sure.  In any case it was still unwatchable.

I tried it a few times and got around 2.8 mb/s on average.


This used to work much better.  I had been using it quite reliably
in the past.

I just tried downgrading to mvpmc 0.2.1 and (although I lose all
ability to interact with the current mythtv protocol) I can get to
the videos via the filesystem browser, and they play fine.  I get
10.2 mb/s in the throughput test using the 0.2.1 version.

What command are you using for the mount?
(in the dongle.bin.mvpmc.config)
Perhaps that it out of sync. I believe there's a shell script for this
but I use 4096 for both the rsize and wsize.
Another workaround is to use the myth protocol instead of nfs.
