Haven't tried it myself, but I think the hardware supports it.

Of the two you almost certainly need to set it to composite, as I think
svideo uses one of the RGB pins for chrominance. I don't think there's any
reason in principle why it shouldn't output both composite and RGB at the
same time, however whether your TV gives you the option to select which one
to use (or will use the RGB signal in preference) is another matter.

Unless anyone else knows any better it may be a case of try it and see...
