   mvpmc settings (all the choices found on the settings menu) don't
   normally persist across a reboot. You can remedy this by creating a
   custom startup script that specifies a -F switch to mvpmc, but this
   still requires having some persistent file storage accessible to the

   have no need for mounting a network file system on your MVP, is to
   use the code below to read and write the settings file from your
   existing TFTP server.
