But does it boot with the additional command line options? I'm not sure what's causing the symptoms you are reporting. If the mvpmc is failing to start, or is repeatedly rebooting itself in a loop, then I'd look at errors in the startup script (dongle.bin.config). DOS line endings instead of UNIX line endings. Lines improperly wrapped. Things like that. But in another message you reported odd problems occurring during playback, and I don't see anything obvious in your startup script that would explain that behavior. I'd recommend reposting those questions here.
