These sound like problems Martin worked on months ago. There were problems pulling weather info over the internet. The mvpmc program occasionally reset if attempts were abandoned. However, the code is much cleaner now. That and other mvpmc features have been cleaned up (i.e. close open connections, release memory, stop updating the OSD if it is own by another feature & reset internal buffers). I just tried skipping from weather back to mythtv several times with out problems. I run the latest mvpmc code in the GIT repository. I just did an cg-update and build (i.e. my copy of the code currently matches the project). I even tried something complex like playing music from the music client, switching to weather (still playing music) then switching to mythtv (however, I have to admit my mythtv box is not currently set up correctly - so I can not actually start any type of video playback.). For that I switched to the ReplayTV feature. That video playback worked fine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
