vista 32bit ultimate
latest hauppauge beta installed (mediamvpsetup_34_25345.exe).
swapped out the dongle trying both 0.3.4 and latest nightly build.
So the mvp loads up the dongle just fine. I can telnet into it and setup my
cifs shares (mounted with a specified user and password with admin rights
and has full control over the share). I file browse on the mvp and I can
see maybe the first 64 mpeg2 files (all tv recordings using a pvr 250). I
can confirm there are over 150 mpeg2 files in that share from vista side of
things. I've also tried mounting my shares using the web interface. No
difference.
The weird part is even in telnet if I do a ls -al on the mount point I see
only the same first 64 or so files. Another weird behavior is if I just
repeatedly do ls -al sometimes I'll get a few extra pages of files in the
directory listing and sometimes I'll get a few less. I never see all the
files.
This happens even on network shares on winxp pro machines so it's not
limited strictly to vista shares.
I've tried this with two different mvp's (both rev D1) and they have the
exact same issue.
The files I can see play back just fine. I really want to use mvpmc but
this issue is driving me crazy. I've searched a lot and couldn't find any
answers.
