Yes, it worked just fine before I switched the backend from the 3GB 3.2 Ghz P4 
to the machine with 1GByte, I don't believe I ever saw the issue with the 
original backend.

I think this is a separate issue from the other mvpmc memory issue, on exiting 
a 
recording it takes a long time to stop the small preview in the corner, when I 
was using the other machine it did not, and this started right at the time that 
I switched from one machine to another for the backend, with roughly the same 
number of recording both before and after the switch, and having the delete 
crashing/slow issue the entire time before and after the backend move.

Sometime I will be switching it back and then I will know for sure, I moved the 
backend because I was going to upgrade the OS on the original machine, and 
wanted to have minimal effect on mythtv.
