Did you wait long enough?

On my MVP, there is a long delay - perhaps 10 or 15 seconds - from when
either button is pressed and when the acknowledgment appears on the OSD.

In addition, the blue button often took me to the wrong location.
Comparing with a regular MythTV front-end it appeared the bookmark was
being set in the expected location, and the problem was on the "jump to"
side of things.

I attempted to turn on debugging to diagnose what was going wrong, but
as I previously reported my show list is large enough that if debugging
is turned on, mvpmc slows down to the point that it generates timeouts
and never gets into the show browser. I haven't been adequately
motivated yet to either set up a test database on the back-end or modify
the dongle to trim the debug messages.

If you have a more reasonably sized MythTV show list, you might want to
turn on debug logging (see prior threads on "bookmarks" and the
commandline wiki page) and post your findings.
