I'm going to have to renege on this as I have done something ill-git'ish 
to my private copy of the project.  It still compiles but I can not get 
around some git resolution issues (that appear very straight forward to 
me - just a mere human).  At this point, I don't even trust GIT has left 
my file unharmed - guess I should have made some sort of back up before 
playing around with source code control (i.e. fire).
