Yeah, sorry about that, I noticed it happening the first time the server learns about the client. Subsequently invoking mclient on the mvpmc box apparently retrieves the server's version number correctly. I think I need to hold off pulling the server's version information. Was hoping to find another way around it. Arbitrarily picking back off timers always leads to problems later. ...Thanks for the feed-back!
