Some kiddie has defaced a few of the pages on the wiki (see: http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/linuxdistros http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/vlc )
as if it actually took any skills to "hack" an open wiki. Shesh. In any case, I noticed a while back someone switched the wiki settings to permit modifications from guest users. That setting potentially invites this kind of thing. Do we still want to keep it set that way? Do contributors find it a barrier/inconvenient to login first? (Wikispaces accepts OpenID, so these days you don't even need to create an account.) I tend to find the guest setting less convenient, as I often start editing a page and then realize I've forgotten to login first. (I prefer to have my edits linked to my login.) -Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Mvpmc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mvpmc-users mvpmc wiki: http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/
