A google search didn't turn up anything obvious. In doing some testing I disabled the -b option and let the Live TV selection run for several hours. The MVP is triggering the backend to set a tuner to live tv. But it never leaves the busy screen. Going back to watch recordings shows and plays the shows that were recorded under the live tv session. It's a really small disconnect that keeps everything from working. The last event is a LIVE_TV_CHAIN_UPDATE message, then the black hole. Thanks for all the advise offered so far. I hope I can get LiveTV working soon.
