I have been actively trying to follow ION news; unfortunately, there isn't
much so far.  However, I'm eagerly awaiting the availability of one.  It
looks like you will need the newest MythTV with VPDAU support, but with that
it should handle 1080p well and run at maybe 20W (and 2W sleeping).  Given
its size and its ability to run a full frontend, it sounds perfect,
especially if they are around $300.
