I don't know as I've only done limited testing with my HDR. I haven't 
had the time to deploy it properly.

The recording used for the prior queries was made by an old 
Philips-based analog tuner card (something I had in my junk box that a 
few years ago I figured I'd see if I could get it to work with MythTV; 
it's my lowest priority tuner and gets used only occasionally).
