Hi, I have question to play AVI videos via vlc streaming.
The movie is started correctly but not the complete image is shown (cropped to an aspect ratio of 4:3, when starting on the server computer the movie is shown in its correct size). Looking into the log file of vlc reveals the follwoing that I consider is the cause of the wrongly displayed movie: Command: vlc -I Telnet --file-logging --verbose 2 --logfile /tmp/x1 Log: VLC media player 1.0.6 Goldeneye [0x8598148] main libvlc debug: VLC media player - version 1.0.6 Goldeneye - (c) 1996-2010 the VideoLAN team ... [0x866c738] [Medium: mvpmc] main stream out warning: option canvas-width is unknown [0x866c738] [Medium: mvpmc] main stream out warning: option canvas-height is unknown [0x866c738] [Medium: mvpmc] main stream out warning: option canvas-aspect is unknown ... The dongle I'm using is: dongle.bin.mvpmc-20100221 Is there a way to fix that with the vlc version showed or do I have to go back to vlc version 0.8.6? I tried to compile this but I got an error during the configure step because of ffmpeg (configure: error: Your FFmpeg library doesn't have the needed img_resample() function. You should rebuild it with software scaler disabled). Which version of ffmeg is needed for that vlc version? Thanks a lot for the good mvpmc application!!
