Having switched from DVB-T to DVB-C I noticed that about 1/3 of the program
contains AC3 audio streams in addition to the standard MPEG2 audio.
Since mvpmc can play MPEG2 audio and only has some issues with AC3 audio, I
though this would not be a problem. The only thing I'd have to do is to switch
to the MPEG2 audio stream.

This is obviously wrong. Most of the recordings containing both AC3 and MP2
audio are choppy as hell and unwatchable. It does not matter(!!!) if I selected
the MP2 or the AC3 audio stream.
The recordings play fine in VLC, mplayer and Kaffeine.

Why does mvpmc go mad if the video contains AC3? Can this be fixed?
Does anybody know a workaround or a script that dumps the AC3 audio but keeps
all other audio streams?

Thanks!
