These bugs have been discovered during testing with MLO --> Outlook Synchronization. Testing has not yet been done for MLO <--> Outlook Synchronization, but the same bugs would be expected.
BUG 1: Steps: Advanced... dialog, Outlook Categories tab Select "Sync MLO Contexts and Projects with Outlook Categories" Do not check any of the 3 Contexts checkboxes Check "Assign task to corresponding project category" Do not check "Add prefix for 'Project' categories" Check "Assign MLO projects to this Outlook category only:" and use the default text "Projects". Expected Result: Items with be put into Outlook and have at most 1 category, that being either the project name or the word "Projects" Actual Result: In addition to the project information expected, the Outlook category also contains any Contexts for each item, even though none of the Contexts checkboxes were checked. BUG 2: Same steps as above except: Check "Context reduction to 14 categories" In the Advanced... dialog Map each MLO context to the same Outlook category. Expected Result: The expected project information above will be in Outlook catgory, plus one Outlook category will be used for all MLO Contexts Actual Result: The only data in the Outlook category is the one MLO Context used, or the word "Projects". The project name is not mapped at all, even though it was checked. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
