I like to roughly plan out my week ahead of time. To do this, what I would like is to concurrently have a view of my tasks by project (the outline view) and a view of the upcoming week (a calendar view), and then be able to drag and drop tasks from projects to particular days of the week. The tasks would then show up on that day in the calendar view. This simpy gives me a visual view of my workload for the week so that I can evenly and logically plan it out.
I have used other tools that have this feature and I find it very helpful. However, there are features of MLO that I like that are more important, so I'm an MLO user. It would be nice, however, to have this weekly planning feature in MLO. I was thinking that one way to simulate this capability would be to allow both the outline view and the to-do view concurrently. I can then have the to-do view filtered by upcoming week tasks and grouped by due dates. I can see the outline view at the same time to consider what other tasks to assign for the week and when. It's not perfect, but would do the job. Thanks --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
