I posted this a few months back but didn't get any responses, so
posting again now...

Is there a way to change how the vibrate reminders/alerts for tasks
occur on PPC? This is probably my biggest single challeng with using
MLO.

On my phone (AT&T Tilt), each single alert occurs as a series of four
long vibrate tones -- which is more than I need to get my attention,
and definitely enough to get the (unwanted) attention of people near
me.

Add on to that, each pending alert triggers individually in series,
which means if I have happen to have 3 alerts set at the same time
then I get 12 alert vibrations, which is waaaay to much.

The worst time for this to happen of course, is during a phone call --
and somehow it happens often. During a phone call, the vibrating and
sound alerts still occur, and the call pretty much screeches to a halt
while whoever is on the other end tries to figure out what all the
noise is.

Also, I have not found a way to set the PPC alert vibrate option for
reminders on the desktop at the same time I create the reminder. I'm
not sure if setting sound reminders from desktop gets synced to the
PPC, as I generally use vibrates only. I have set a couple of custom-
sound alerts on desktop which definitely didn't sync to PPC, but I'm
not sure if the custom sound is the reason for that. I finally started
to set alerts on my PPC separately from the desktop just out of not
knowing what else to do.

I would really like to make better use of the alerts -- with options
to limit the number of vibrate tones, not alert in series, and hold
alerts until after a call is completed (much like music is paused/
resumed during a call.) And it would be much better to be able to
manage all the alerts from the desktop.

If there's any direction you can give me, that would be very
helpful....

Thanks!
