on my phone, tasks entered in inbox definitely -do- Appear in active around unless of course the task is inactive.
My guests is that you have created talks which for some reason are inactive. Please pick some newly created inbox task that's not in active actions, long tap it to get the task menu, and select task info. Look under action status. If it's not immediately apparent to you why that task isn't on Active Actions, please update this thread to let is know what the action status is.
