I'm not arguing that project name shouldn't be an option to display (as long as it can be turned off, I don't see why it isn't there yet since so many people have asked for it from day one -- and it seems to be reasonably easy to implement. It could even be another View mode, where it was shown in small text underneath).
But, in regards to your comment below, try tapping on the first task and hitting "next" to go through your list. A little kludgy but better than tapping each task.
