Wondering if there is any support for this idea. As a user of the brilliant desktop app, anxiously awaiting the mobile app, I feed as if I have been shoe-horned into a mobile product that is a standalone iphone app that I don't need and that doesn't genuinely support or enhance the desktop app in the way that I hoped it would.
I suggest that Andrey build a SEPARATE MLO iPhone product purely for the desktop user base - the function of which is to act only as a mobile slave to the desktop version. This would be for people who have no interest in organising task lists on a mobile or using the GPS system or whatever. The MLO Mobile Desktop Slave would have limited functionality. - Inbox (adding tasks on the fly) - Showing saved To Do lists from the desktop version. - No task outline. - AUTO SYNC with the cloud (essential). So it would have massively scaled down functionality, but some enhancement over the existing mobile app (auto sync) which would be manageable because of the smaller user base for this. Much of the programming work for this type of app has already been done so it shouldn't be too expensive to build. It could generate income from additional cloud subscriptions and presumably a cost on the iphone store. I doubt it would damage the market for the existing MLO app as people using the standalone app are paying for its standalone capabilities.
