Hi There, I'm trying out MLO and I haven't been able to get my Blackberry Torch 9800 to Sync with the MLO on desktop. I've followed the instructions in the help file: How to sync MLO Desktop with MLO-BlackBerry using USB connection
1. Make sure BlackBerry Device manager is installed and running on your computer 2. Connect your BlackBerry Device to your computer 3. Run MLO on BlackBerry 4. Run MLO on Desktop 5. In MLO on Desktop select File->Synchronization… 6. Click New… 7. Enter the Sync profile name (for example “Bob’s BB USB Sync”) 8. Click “Sync to BlackBerry connected to USB” 9. Click “Browse…” and select file on the BlackBerry you want to sync with 10. Click OK to save your Sync Profile 11. Click Close to close Synchronization dialog 12. Click F9 (Tools->Synchronize) to sync to BlackBerry When I click "Browse..." in step 9 I get an error message: "Error initializing Blackberry Device Manager. Please make sure it is installed on you computer and restart if the problem persists." When I click ‘OK’ another error window pops up saying “invalid pointer operation” and tells me where I can find the log file. Blackberry DM is installed and running (ver. 6.1.0.36). MLO is running on the Torch and on the desktop. I’m running Windows XP SP3. I’m interested in MLO and would like to buy it if I can get it to work. Thanks.
