Yes, Lisa. If you want to sync or even backup your tasks on Android devices, 
you have to pay the pro version and the Windows soft or the Cloud sync fee. 
(Perhaps you can sync in cloud with free version, I'm not sure, but I'm either 
sure that you can see your tasks anywhere like a web interface). Almost all 
task managers (and even other kind of apps) have a backup/export option but not 
MLO for Android or iPad. When I began with MLO on BlackBerry, it had that 
option (don't know now because I don't use yet)! Wuold be useful on all 
versions... :-(
