I can tell you that the problem you are reporting has previously been reported to the developers. I cannot tell you whether or when they plan to fix it. But the good news is that there's an easy workaround, reported by Lisa. After you check the "ascending" box you are probably hitting the Android "back" or "escape" button, right? Unfortunately this button is implemented to mean "cancel" where the intuitive meaning should be "OK". There is no OK button. But if you tap where it says "due date" instead of the escape button, it should honor and process the ascending checkbox. Try this, please and tell us if it works for you. Tasks with a due date in the near future (at last: "today"). I would like it to be exactly the opposite way. When setting sort parameters there is a check box "Ascending". But activating this does not change anything. When setting sort parameters after that again, the check box is not activated again... I would like to know if this is a known bug and will be fixed soon. In this case I would happily buy the pro version.
