Hi, Alexandra. If this were mine I would create contexts for “calls day” and “calls night”. I would also create a context “calls” which would *include* calls day as well as calls night. That way I could look at active tasks in the context “calls” and see daytime calls if it’s daytime and see nighttime calls if its night. I would probably need a similar arrangement for Home, but it might not be day and night so much as weeknight and weekend. I would hope that you would not need to break “office” down; if you actually need an “office night” or “office weekend” you have bigger troubles. Just kidding. Sorry.
Anyhow, the disadvantage of this is maintenance of schedules. If the hours considered “day” versus “night” should change, your scheme would allow that change to be made with edits to just “day” and “night” where my scheme would require the change to be made to almost every context. But I would still think it’s worth it. -Dwight From: mylifeorganized@googlegroups.com [mailto:mylifeorganized@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Alexis Sent: Monday, September 22, 2014 6:12 PM To: mylifeorganized@googlegroups.com Subject: [MLO] Contexts closed are still showing up I just installed the 4.3.1 Trial Pro Version on my Win 7 PC. I´m struggling with the contexts and the according viewfilters. I started creating the contexts: - Office - Home - Day - Evening - Calls I defined different Opening Times for Day and Evening and thought that only tasks open would be displayed. But that only works if no other context is assigned to that task. A task with the context "Calls; Day" will still be displayed if i filter in the evening for "Calls". Is it possible that a task is closed if just one containing task is closed? I guess i can achieve what i want to see by clever filter settings but than the automatization with the Closing Times is lost. What could be a workaround? To be more flexible i don´t want to create contexts like "Calls Day", "Calls Evening" Thank You Alexandra -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
