Just answering the big issue for now, which is obviouse to me. I don't need
a popup warning about no sync. There is a place I tap to sync, and it needs
to indicate first if a sync has not been done yet. This is not hard to
figure out that the same feature is critical even if it is a cloud sync. We
cannot assume that our local device is syncing just because we haven't
detected any problem yet with internet connectivity.
