Hi, Ryan. Let's see if I can send a complete message this time.

I understand the situation you describe and I've been there more than a few times. Fortunately, MLO includes a "skip occurrence" command to cover exactly this situation.

Windows

  • Right-click on a repeating task to bring up a context menu
  • select "skip occurrence" from menu
  • on the popup that appears, select an option that says something like "skip  everything up to today"

Android

  • From the menu at the bottom of the screen, select "multiselect" which looks like a stack of coins.
  • The grab bar icon at the end of task turns into a circle
  • select one or more tasks by clicking the circle icon at the end of the task
  • click the "skip occurence" icon which is a circulr arrow which starts as a dashed line and becomes a solid line

Hello Dwight,

If you had intended to reply, it looks like I did not receive anything.

I have several recurring tasks that I complete each day.  Rarely I miss a day or two.  When I do, I have to click through all of them for several days to catch up to the current day.  In the task recurrence window, there is an option to "Regenerate new task x days after each task is completed" however when i use this option, the start time and due time is reset to whenever I complete the task (not the next day at the same time.)  Is there any option to keep these times the same?  Lock Period doesn't seem to carry over when the task is regenerated.
