You know that's available in the advanced filter, right? I believe that to be useful you need a way to specify order of operations, for example to distinguish ((this AND this)BUT NOT that) from (this AND (this BUT NOT that)) - this is easy in advanced filter but adding it to the simple filter would imho make it no longer simple
